SAFETY AND CERTIFICATION
Is wireless charging bad for my battery?
No: The effect on your battery with wireless charging is perfectly similar as the effect of charging through cable. Wireless charging does not pose any additional problems.
Is wireless charging dangerous?
No: Wireless charging works on electromagnetic fields, which means there will be no electricity flying through the air or anything. Additionally any radiation is insignificantly little by nature and further lowered by the close proximity of the devices and the additional shielding in the Qi coil modules used.
How safe is the Woodie Hub?
Perfectly safe: The sockets have additional protection built in to make them child friendly, the wireless charging is perfectly safe and the USB are standard issued liked any other and thus equally safe.
Is the Woodie Hub certified?
Yes: The Woodie Hub is CE, FCC and Rohs certified and approved for sales and use in most countries. The product is perfectly safe and usable wherever.
Is the Powerbank certified?
Yes: The Powerbank is fully certified and approved for sales and use in the entire world.
Is the Cover certified?
Yes: The Cover is fully certified and approved for sales and use in the entire world. It does not have the specific Apple MFI certification, due to restrictions in use by Apple. The product is perfectly safe and usable however.
Is your cover MFI certified?
No: MFI certification would require an expansion of the plug, which forces the plug to stick out at the bottom. The cover is otherwise certified however and perfectly safe to use. The MFI certification is only placed by Apple to maintain control over their accessories.

WIRELESS CHARGING
How does wireless charging work?
Without delving into the exact physical explanations: when electricity ‘travels’ through a copper wire, it provides an electromagnetic field. The inductive coil used for wireless charging has a special placement of copper wires to create a specific magnetic field. The magnetic field which is created by the sending coil (E.g. charging station) interacts with the receiving coil. In turn this magnetic field is turned into power by the receiving coil and then transferred to the device (E.g. mobile phone).

In other words: Electricity – sender coil – magnetic field – receiving coil – electricity.

Wireless induction is around 80% the speed of a standard USB charger.

How many times does the Powerbank charge my phone?
For most phones the Powerbank will approximately provide a full charge, which means it will about double your battery capacity during the day.
Does the Powerbank have fast charging?
No: The Powerbank has wireless charging and standard USB-type charging.
What wood is used for the Powerbank and Cover?
Both the Powerbank and the Cover use high quality wood. These are currently available in Rosewood Santos, Teak and Erable. Only top quality materials are used for the production of our devices.
